About the role
The Hoxton Poblenou is looking for an Events Operation Coordinator to support the delivery of day and evening events across our hotel spaces. You will work closely with the Groups and Events team to ensure every guest experience is seamless, memorable, and aligned with our brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in managing day and evening events, following the hotel’s events strategy and programme.
- Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to coordinate setup, logistics, and on‑site execution.
- Handle ad‑hoc requests, queries, invoices, and feedback collection to continuously improve event operations.
- Manage stock, expenses, and relationships with event suppliers and contractors.
- Take overall responsibility for health and safety within event areas, ensuring a secure environment for guests and staff.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a hospitality event operations role within a busy hotel, restaurant group, or contract catering environment.
- Background in Food and Beverage operations is essential.
- Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple tasks, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Micro Fidelio Opera or a similar front‑desk operating system.
