Finance & Accounting Manager – Spain

About the role

22DOGS is looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead its financial operations in Spain. Reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the CEO, you will provide accurate financial reporting, ensure tax compliance, and support strategic decision‑making in a fast‑paced VFX production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate monthly financial statements (PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting and monitor liquidity.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable, including invoice processing, purchase orders, and vendor management.
• Supervise bookkeeping to maintain timely and accurate records.
• Produce monthly cost reports (payroll, freelancers, licences, vendors) and analyse variances against budget.
• Lead fiscal planning and ensure tax compliance, including rebate processes and filings in Spain.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and ensure adherence to local regulations.
• Support the CEO and Group CFO with financial analysis, reporting, and strategic decisions.
• Identify and implement improvements in accounting and financial processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within Spain.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish and International accounting standards (IFRS) and tax regulations.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, project‑driven environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience in project‑based settings such as VFX, production, media, or technology is a plus.
