Finance & Payroll Consultant – French Market

About the role

Factorial is seeking a Finance & Payroll Consultant for the French market to guide clients through the implementation and adoption of our Payroll, Compensation, and Finance Management solutions. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, ensuring French customers optimise their payroll operations, expense management, and finance workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end payroll and finance implementations for French clients, ensuring smooth transitions and high product usage.
• Provide expert guidance on French payroll regulations, DSN obligations, and finance compliance.
• Configure payroll setups, including time management, employee data, contract types, integrations, and compliance workflows.
• Assist clients in automating finance processes such as expenses, approvals, procurement, accounts payable, and reporting.
• Deliver training sessions, share best practices, and support finance and payroll teams.
• Identify complex scenarios, propose solutions or workarounds, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and implementation partners to relay market insights and ensure a consistent customer journey.

Required profile

• Hands‑on consultant with strong expertise in French payroll and finance.
• Professional experience in finance operations or finance consulting (expenses, procurement, reporting, etc.).
• Expert‑level French and fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of French payroll processes, conventions collectives, and DSN requirements.
• Understanding of finance workflows, expense management, and procurement processes.
