Financial Controller – Barcelona

About the role

We are looking for a Controller to join our team in Barcelona, supporting financial reporting, budgeting and controlling activities. The role ensures accurate, compliant and timely financial information to aid strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the general ledger, perform reconciliations and maintain financial reporting systems.
• Prepare and deliver management reports and financial analysis for senior leadership.
• Participate in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, monitoring performance against budget and providing variance analysis.
• Support strategic planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of progressive finance or controlling experience, preferably as a Controller.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and compliance.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and change‑orientation skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
