Financial Controller – Seville

About the role

ATEXIS, a multinational consulting firm serving aerospace, defense, naval, railway, energy and industrial clients, is looking for a Financial Controller to join its Seville office. Reporting to the Controlling Manager, you will become the financial reference for the local team, providing accurate data to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial closing process, ensuring accurate revenue validation and P&L reporting.
• Manage Work In Progress (WIP) tracking per project, assess risks, and propose corrective actions.
• Perform project profitability analysis, identify cost overruns or delays, and suggest margin‑improving actions.
• Prepare and visualise reports using Power BI, Excel and internal tools for local, group and headquarters reporting.
• Consolidate financial and operational data to meet group deadlines and standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in controlling, bookkeeping or data analysis, preferably in engineering or consulting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish (native/bilingual) and English (B2‑C1).
• Team player who can collaborate with commercial, operational and accounting teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems.
