Flight Physics PMTD Leader – Military Derivatives

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Flight Physics PMTD Leader to join its Technology & Capability team in Getafe, Madrid. You will drive process, methods and tool development (PMTD) for flight physics, ensuring digital transformation and program success for military derivatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Flight Physics PMTD portfolio for a specific program, guaranteeing on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality CoC deliveries.
• Lead the PMTD Integrated Product Team (IPT) and coordinate with TAXD, Digital and TADX stakeholders.
• Drive convergence of Flight Physics processes and implement digital initiatives to boost Air Power competitiveness.
• Maintain process and document referential alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop integrated digital solutions for end‑to‑end engineering processes.
• Design, validate and deploy disruptive problem‑solving approaches in flight physics.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in programming and data‑science within development or engineering environments.
• Hands‑on experience with flight physics and overall aircraft development processes.
• Proven project‑management experience in complex, international settings.
