Freelance Lecturer in Finance and Accounting

About the role

Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) is seeking a freelance lecturer to join its Finance and Accounting faculty on a part‑time basis, starting May 2026. The role is based in Madrid and offers flexibility while contributing to BSBI’s international academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned finance and accounting modules according to the curriculum and agreed timetable.
• Amend or design new curriculum content when required.
• Create learning materials such as PowerPoint presentations and supporting documents.
• Provide consultation, mentoring, and feedback to students.
• Prepare students for summative and formative assessments.
• Promote the school through academic activities and thought leadership.
• Monitor student performance in classrooms, labs, internships, or projects.
• Supervise dissertations, projects, and internships following prescribed standards.
• Participate in faculty and school activities as assigned by senior academic leaders.

Required profile

• Academic background in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• Proven teaching or lecturing experience at higher‑education level.
• Ability to design curriculum and develop instructional materials.
• Strong communication skills and capacity to mentor diverse student groups.
• Flexibility to work on a freelance, part‑time basis.
