Frontend Developer

About the role

Join Festo's newly created Digital Hub in Barcelona as a Frontend Developer. You will work on a global eCommerce platform that serves customers in more than 55 countries, helping to modernise the company's digital presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the frontend of an enterprise‑level eCommerce web platform.
• Create decentralized micro‑frontend modules using Module Federation and a modern tech stack.
• Write automated unit tests with Vitest and end‑to‑end tests with Playwright.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, operations, QA and a distributed agile team across Spain, Germany and Lithuania.
• Maintain and gradually refactor legacy code ranging from create‑react‑app projects to older jQuery implementations.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience building complex web applications in a fast‑moving environment.
• Ability to take ownership of features and influence technical decisions.
