Full Stack Developer – E‑commerce CMS (Barcelona)

About the role

Netenders, an international e‑commerce group, is building a proprietary Content Management System to power its online stores. We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our Barcelona tech team, working on high‑impact, long‑term projects that shape the future of our e‑commerce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Redesign, customize and optimise e‑commerce websites.
• Develop and maintain React‑based front‑ends.
• Extend and improve the internal e‑commerce CMS, focusing on purchase‑order processes, supplier integrations and large‑scale data handling.
• Build back‑office services for product management, pricing and SEO data.
• Design clean, scalable APIs and ensure seamless front‑end integration.
• Review pull requests, mentor peers and promote best coding practices.
• Collaborate with Product, IT, Marketing and Design teams to deliver robust solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Ruby on Rails development (version 5 or newer) with experience upgrading between versions.
• 3+ years building modern front‑ends with React.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns and RESTful API design.
• Proficiency with Git version control and QA processes.
• Experience in e‑commerce or complex backend systems.
