Full Stack Developer – In‑Flight Entertainment Platform

About the role

Jet Aviation is looking for a Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join its IFX team in Madrid. You will help build and evolve the company’s proprietary In‑Flight Entertainment (IFE) system, working closely with colleagues in Basel and delivering high‑quality, maintainable software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end applications using modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js or Angular.
• Design and implement scalable, object‑oriented back‑end services in C#, Java, Python or a similar language.
• Apply Clean Architecture, CQRS and Event Sourcing principles to create modular systems.
• Practice Test‑Driven Development and contribute to automated testing strategies.
• Collaborate with the Basel‑based IFX team, UX/UI designers and IoT specialists to deliver performant, accessible applications.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and technical decision‑making.
• Integrate software with IoT devices, real‑time data streams and external systems where relevant.
• Maintain technical documentation and uphold coding standards.

Required profile

• Full‑stack developer passionate about software craftsmanship and best practices.
• Solid understanding of Clean Architecture and practical knowledge of CQRS and Event Sourcing.
• Strong object‑oriented programming skills in at least one language (C#, Java, Python, etc.).
• Proficiency with a modern front‑end framework (React, Vue.js or Angular).
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (B2 level or higher).
