Full Stack Developer – Simulation & Visualization Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to build and evolve an internal simulation and visualization platform used in complex engineering design. You will own both front‑end and back‑end development, handling data pipelines and turning rich engineering data into intuitive, high‑performance visual tools. The position is based in Barcelona and is a permanent, full‑time role.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the front‑end and back‑end of the simulation & visualization platform.
• Build interactive visualizations of system performance, data, and behavior.
• Collaborate with simulation, control and systems engineers to integrate engineering models.
• Improve platform scalability, maintainability and user experience.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews and continuous improvement.
• Support deployment, testing and documentation of new features.

Required profile

• Full‑stack experience with TypeScript, Python, React, Node.js or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of modern front‑end frameworks and UI development.
• Experience building back‑end services, APIs and handling data.
• Ability to create interactive data visualizations and intuitive user interfaces.
• Proven delivery in a structured engineering environment and strong communication skills.
• Based in Spain (Barcelona).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Professional proficiency in English; Spanish/Catalan or German a plus.
