Full Stack Developer – STIBO STEP

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join the BASF Digital Hub in Madrid and work on the STIBO STEP platform. You will help build and maintain master data management solutions that support our digital transformation across the agricultural value chain. The role combines backend and frontend development in a collaborative, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and estimate effort.
• Design, develop, and customize features on the STIBO STEP platform, including workflow extensions, business rules (JavaScript), Web UI components, and data model configurations.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code while participating in peer code reviews.
• Manage source code, work items, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and alignment of master data solutions with global data strategy.

Required skills

• JavaScript for business rule implementation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for source control, work tracking, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with STIBO STEP or similar master data management platforms.
• Understanding of web UI development and data modeling concepts.
