Full‑Stack Software Engineer – Java/Spring & Angular

About the role

Join Ford Credit Europe’s IT team as a full‑stack Software Engineer. You will help build and maintain global financing applications for dealers and customers, working across the entire software lifecycle from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new functionalities and address technical debt in existing applications.
• Write clean, testable code that meets quality, cyber‑security, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Investigate and propose technical solutions, participate in effort estimation and forecasting.
• Promote best practices in architecture, design, implementation, and security.
• Conduct code reviews and use collaborative programming techniques.
• Diagnose and resolve critical performance issues across multiple teams.
• Follow agile development processes and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Solid experience as a Software Engineer, preferably with Spring Boot and Angular.
• Background in the financial or automotive sector is a plus.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
