General Manager – Flex Living (Onsite)

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a new Flex Living property in Madrid. This on‑site role is responsible for the overall performance of the business unit, overseeing daily operations, team members, and resources to meet financial and operational targets while fostering a vibrant, safe, and welcoming community for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a role model, embodying Greystar’s core values.
• Lead the team to deliver memorable resident experiences and exceed expectations.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop local leasing strategies based on market data, driving occupancy and revenue goals.
• Oversee marketing campaigns, advertising, and promotional activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing performance reporting.
• Engage with residents proactively to improve service delivery and enhance community events.
• Set rates based on market analysis, monitor payments, and achieve targeted revenues.
• Prepare and forecast annual budgets, analyze financial statements, and review operational reports.
• Manage financial performance, conduct regular P&L reviews, and report variances to investors.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention through responsive communication and service excellence.
