German-speaking Community Manager for Openbank Pay

About the role

Join Openbank Pay, the innovative checkout and lending platform of the Santander Group, as a German‑speaking Community Manager based in Madrid. You will be the voice of the brand on multiple social channels, ensuring users receive timely, helpful, and on‑brand responses.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to comments, direct messages and user mentions across Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Trustpilot and app stores in a professional tone.
• Monitor brand conversations, identify trends and manage negative or critical feedback to protect the brand’s reputation.
• Analyze social media performance using Sprinklr, producing monthly reports on inquiry volume, interaction levels and improvement areas.
• Detect potential social media crises, manage the situation and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supported Channels and Social Media teams to ensure consistent brand experience.
• Coordinate website content updates related to community interactions.

Required profile

• Based in Madrid and fluent in German (English proficiency required).
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to maintain brand tone.
• Proactive attitude toward reputation management and crisis handling.
• Team player who works closely with internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with Sprinklr or similar social media management tools.
