Global Clinical Education Manager, Ortho

About the role

The Global Clinical Education Manager, Ortho is responsible for creating and maintaining external clinical education for new products and updates, as well as supporting internal employee training. The role works globally on Align Technology’s ortho portfolio and is based in Madrid.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain clinical education pathways and engagement activities for providers.
• Develop instructional decks and related documents in collaboration with product and marketing teams.
• Work with Product Managers to ensure a cohesive approach to doctor engagement and education.
• Contribute to and review clinical content for doctor education, marketing, and internal training materials.
• Support clinical speakers in content creation and presentation preparation.
• Produce education content that builds doctors' confidence and skills.
• Oversee copy‑writing, proofreading, agency briefing, and development of training and reference materials.
• Lead the development of clinical training and reference resources.
• Partner with global teams to deliver presentations, publications, and disseminate new clinical research.
• Build internal networks with Digital Education, Sales, Clinical Support, Product, and Marketing stakeholders.
• Identify and drive improvement initiatives across people, processes, and tools.
• Support internal clinical education for Align employees and customer‑facing teams.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience as a dentist, orthodontist, or equivalent corporate role.
• DDS degree or equivalent; Orthodontics certificate preferred; MSc desirable.
• Fluent in English; additional language is an asset.
• Strong time‑management, task‑oriented, and results‑driven attitude.
• Willingness to work onsite in Madrid five days a week.
