About the role

Santander's Global Export and Agency Finance team is seeking an Associate to support the origination, structuring, and execution of Export Credit Agency (ECA) backed financing transactions worldwide. Based in Boadilla del Monte, the role offers exposure to a full spectrum of ECA‑backed financing structures and the opportunity to work closely with clients, ECAs, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Support senior team members in structuring and executing ECA‑covered financing transactions globally.
Coordinate the preparation and delivery of high‑quality internal and external transaction materials.
Contribute to business development activities, including screening new opportunities and collaborating with bankers and ECAs.
Drive internal coordination across Legal, Compliance, ESG, Syndication, Middle Office, Project Finance, and other relevant functions.

Required profile

Highly motivated and analytical mindset.
Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast‑paced environment.
Willingness to engage directly with clients and external counterparties.
