About the role
PepsiCo is seeking a Logistics Buyer to manage procurement activities across Europe, covering transportation, pallets, and outsourced warehousing. The role focuses on driving value through category expertise, cross‑functional collaboration, and strong supplier relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and analyse spend data to support procurement decisions with local business stakeholders.
- Evaluate the current sourcing footprint, define a sourcing vision, and recommend improvements.
- Conduct market intelligence research for the logistics category.
- Lead supplier selection, tender design, RFX analysis, and negotiation processes.
- Review and update contracts, manage approval workflows, and ensure compliance.
- Maintain supplier information, control costs, and feed forecasts for annual and quarterly planning.
- Identify improvement opportunities to meet productivity and cash‑flow targets.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3‑5 years of experience in procurement or shared services within FMCG.
- Good knowledge of the logistics landscape and strong business acumen.
- Excellent analytical, financial, and computer skills.
- Proven internal customer management and ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
