Global Talent Acquisition Lead - Industrial and Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Galderma is opening a new Global Capability Center in Barcelona's Eixample district to support its global commercial and functional teams. The Global Talent Acquisition Lead for Manufacturing and Industrial Operations designs, implements and manages talent acquisition strategies that attract top talent for the company's global manufacturing and industrial operations, working closely with business leaders, HR and cross-functional teams. The role also manages the contingent workforce hiring program (MSP) for Industrial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute and continuously improve a global talent acquisition strategy for manufacturing and industrial functions aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with executive leadership, plant managers and HR business partners to identify workforce needs, anticipate talent gaps and plan proactively.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment across multiple international locations, respecting local regulations, cultural nuances and company standards.
• Promote the employer value proposition for manufacturing and industrial roles through digital platforms, industry events and partnerships.
• Drive diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and ensure diverse, inclusive hiring practices.
• Implement recruitment technologies and data-driven methods to improve efficiency, candidate experience and hiring quality.
• Lead, mentor and develop a geographically dispersed team of talent acquisition professionals.
• Define and track KPIs and report regularly to senior management.
• Ensure recruitment complies with global and local employment laws and mitigate organisational risk.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role supporting manufacturing or industrial operations globally.
• Experience managing large-scale recruitment, including plant start-ups, high-volume hiring and executive search.
• Knowledge of global employment laws and compliance across several regions.
• Experience with temporary labour / contingent workforce programs is an asset.
• Track record of building and leading diverse teams across multiple geographies; key sites are in Canada, France, Sweden and Brazil.
• English mandatory; French or Swedish considered an asset.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, multicultural environment.
