Global Tax Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Global Tax Lead to join our Shared Service Center in Barcelona. You will be at the core of Fagron's tax reporting process for the EMEA region, supporting both group tax provision and global tax reporting. The role combines IFRS tax provisioning with local statutory tax accounting and CIT compliance coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual IFRS tax provisions (IAS 12) for EMEA entities, including current tax, deferred tax, and rate reconciliations.
• Contribute to the consolidated group tax provision and prepare tax‑related disclosure notes for IFRS financial statements.
• Coordinate corporate income tax (CIT) return processes, ensuring timely filings and monitoring payment obligations across EMEA.
• Support the OneStream tax reporting module implementation, data validation, workflow management, and report generation.
• Maintain standardized tax reporting packs, data collection templates, and identify automation opportunities.
• Assist with Pillar Two/GloBE data collection, Country‑by‑Country Reporting, M&A tax workstreams, and other tax function initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in tax, accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5‑7 years of experience in tax provision, statutory tax accounting, and CIT compliance, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (IAS 12) and local tax regulations across EMEA.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with global finance teams and local advisors.
