Graduate Aerodynamics Engineer – 2‑Year Development Programme

About the role

Join Airbus’s two‑year Graduate Aerodynamics Programme starting October 2027. You will rotate through key aerodynamic activities, receive tailored soft‑skill training and develop into a fully qualified Aerodynamics Engineer while working on real aircraft projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and characterise air‑inlet and outlet systems and APU aerodynamics.
• Create high‑quality surface geometry and 3‑D models using CATIA and/or 3DX and run comprehensive CFD simulations.
• Support wind‑tunnel and flight‑testing campaigns, from preparation to data analysis.
• Improve aerodynamic design methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Collaborate with structures, propulsion and systems teams to optimise aircraft design.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Recent graduate or limited professional experience in aerodynamic design.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a drive for continuous personal development.

Required skills

• CATIA (or 3DX) for 3‑D modelling.
