Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO)

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished and strategically minded Group Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy, performance, capital management, investment finance, and governance of a diversified Insurance & Investments Group. The Group CFO will have enterprise‑wide responsibility for the Group’s financial affairs across subsidiaries, business units, investment entities, and operating companies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s overall financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the Group CEO, President, Board, and Executive Committee.
• Establish Group‑wide financial policies, standards, controls, and performance frameworks.
• Oversee the Group’s P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and capital position, driving sustainable earnings growth and expense efficiency.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and financial scenario analysis.
• Provide executive oversight of insurance finance, monitoring premiums, claims, reserves, and underwriting results.
• Supervise investment and asset‑management finance, ensuring disciplined capital allocation.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience in insurance, investment management, asset management, or regulated financial institutions.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing group‑wide financial strategies and governance.
• Strong ability to advise C‑suite executives and board members on capital allocation and financial performance.
• Deep understanding of insurance finance metrics such as loss ratios, combined ratios, and underwriting margins.
