Groups & Events Coordinator

About the role

Based at the historic Son Bunyola estate in Mallorca, the Groups & Events Coordinator ensures seamless group reservations and event execution for a luxury boutique hotel and its villas. Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will act as the main liaison between guests, reservations, and operational teams, delivering a high‑standard experience for group clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all group bookings, managing room blocks, rooming lists and contract preparation.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments to guarantee smooth arrivals, stays, and events.
• Handle client inquiries, negotiate rates, and maintain strong relationships with group clients.
• Organise meeting spaces, event logistics and on‑site support for conferences, weddings and private functions.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise before, during, or after group stays.
• Produce regular reports on group performance and assist sales teams with upselling opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel reservations, sales or event coordination.
• Proven ability to lead a reservations team and work across multiple hotel departments.
• Excellent communication, customer‑service and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driving licence and reliable transport.
