Guided Tours & Events Internship at BME

About the role

This internship offers hands‑on experience in the Events and Conferences team of BME, based at the historic Palacio de la Bolsa in Madrid. You will support guided tours and a variety of corporate events while gaining insight into the financial sector.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct guided tours for visitors and manage related inquiries.
• Handle mailbox, telephone and email requests for tours and events.
• Assist in creating tour materials, speeches and informational content.
• Support event managers throughout planning, preparation, execution, and post‑event follow‑up, including invitations and registrations.
• Provide on‑site assistance during events and ad‑hoc support to the events team.

Required profile

• Current studies in Marketing, Communication, Tourism, Business Administration or Event Organization.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities, with flexibility to work in a dynamic, global environment.
• Ability to work autonomously, collaborate effectively, and manage time efficiently.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Spanish (minimum B2 level).
• Experience hosting virtual events is a plus.
