Hardware Support Engineer – Robotics Delivery & Packaging

About the role

Amazon Robotics is looking for a Hardware Support Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of its packaging and robotics systems across fulfillment centers. You will work hands‑on with customers, troubleshoot complex hardware issues, and help deploy new robotic technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for new product implementations, upgrades, routine hardware audits, and troubleshooting of advanced robotics systems.
• Partner with product development, manufacturing, and site‑level reliability, maintenance, and engineering (RME) teams to maximize system performance.
• Resolve RME technical inquiries and escalations, identifying and fixing mechanical and system issues.
• Design and build electro‑mechanical tools, fixtures, and proactive monitoring and diagnostic solutions.
• Develop preventative maintenance procedures, training content, and spare‑parts management processes.
• Conduct safety, ergonomic, and risk assessments and produce regular performance reports.
• Travel up to 50% to support multiple fulfillment sites.
