Hardware Support Engineer – Robotics Delivery & Packaging

About the role

Amazon Robotics is looking for a Hardware Support Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of its packaging and robotics systems across fulfillment centers. You will work on‑site, troubleshooting hardware, implementing tools, and collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for new product rollouts, upgrades, and routine hardware audits.
• Partner with product development, manufacturing, and reliability teams to maximize system performance.
• Resolve mechanical and system issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and deliver technical escalations.
• Design and build electro‑mechanical tools, fixtures, and monitoring solutions.
• Develop diagnostic and preventative‑maintenance procedures and training content.
• Lead on‑site training for reliability teams and manage spare‑parts processes.
• Perform safety, ergonomic, and risk assessments and produce performance reports.

Required profile

• Technical aptitude with a passion for hardware and robotics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in fast‑paced fulfillment environments.
