Head of EMEA Total Rewards

About the role

ERM, a global sustainability consulting firm, is looking for a commercially oriented EMEA Rewards Director to lead its EMEA HR team's total rewards function. The role covers roughly 20 countries and aims to mature the reward philosophy so that the firm can attract, retain and motivate talent across a diverse set of roles. It reports to the Regional HR Director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full annual reward cycle, including the annual pay review and bonus cycle, internal pay equity review and benchmarking process.
• Act as a strategic reward partner to the EMEA senior leadership team, giving expert advice on business needs.
• Develop and deliver reward communication and education materials for the EMEA region.
• Manage stakeholders and work with regional and group reward counterparts on global reward projects and process implementations.
• Lead large-scale projects such as readiness for the EU Pay Transparency Directive, job architecture reviews and global benefits management transitions.
• Lead a small team of reward professionals.

Required profile

• Proven track record as an EMEA Rewards Director with expertise in strategic reward leadership, benchmarking, job architecture and evaluation, salary band design and benefits plan design.
• Senior reward experience across multiple EMEA countries, with deep technical knowledge of reward frameworks, processes and plan design.
• Knowledge of reward compliance topics.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, preferably in a matrixed environment.
• Prior experience in professional services or consulting is preferred.

Required skills

• Very strong Excel and data analysis.
• Knowledge of Workday and WTW's Global Grading methodology is a plus.
