Head of Group Accounting

About the role

Impress, the leading chain of digital orthodontic clinics, is seeking a Head of Group Accounting to safeguard its global financial integrity. You will lead the consolidation and reporting function across all entities, ensuring flawless IFRS compliance while driving automation and team excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation for all group entities under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Act as the technical expert for complex transactions and ensure "investment‑ready" reporting.
• Design and implement automation of accounting and reporting processes to shorten the time‑to‑close.
• Optimize ERP and BI tools to create a single source of truth for financial data.
• Mentor, scale and set KPIs for the central accounting and control team.
• Coordinate with local finance heads to align subsidiary reporting with group objectives.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and lead the annual audit to a clean opinion.
• Develop internal controls, support M&A due diligence and prepare data rooms for funding rounds.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in group controlling or senior accounting roles within large multinational corporations.
• Strong background in external audit.
• Deep expertise in IFRS and consolidated financial statements.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing high‑performance finance teams.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑growing, hyper‑scale environment.
