Head of Public Affairs

About the role

Airalo is looking for a senior leader to build and run its public affairs function. You will shape the regulatory environment for a fast‑growing eSIM provider, working directly with senior leadership and representing the company before regulators, policymakers and industry bodies across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a global public affairs strategy aligned with business expansion plans.
• Establish the public affairs function from the ground up, including processes, external advisors and, eventually, an internal team.
• Develop a forward‑looking policy horizon scanner to anticipate regulatory changes.
• Lead direct engagement with government ministries, telecom regulators (e.g., TRAI, Anatel, OFCOM) and industry associations.
• Advise senior leadership on market‑access risks and ensure proactive mitigation.
• Represent Airalo in regulatory proceedings and advocacy initiatives across Spain, the UK, the UAE and other markets.

Required profile

• Strong political instinct and deep interest in telecom and digital‑economy regulation.
• Proven ability to influence policymakers and build credibility for a global brand.
• Experience advising senior executives on regulatory strategy.
• Comfort communicating fluently in English, both in meetings and asynchronous channels.
