Head of SAP Global Design and Solution Architecture

About the role

Liebherr, a global leader in engineering and manufacturing, is seeking a Head of SAP Global Design and Solution Architecture to steer the enterprise architecture for its Sales and Service divisions within a greenfield S/4HANA program. Based in Madrid, the role operates in a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% on‑site presence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise architecture roadmap for Sales and Service, covering SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Field Service.
• Lead a network of solution and domain architects across SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, Service, EWM, PP) and Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring template governance and cross‑solution consistency.
• Translate global business requirements into scalable, integrated solutions while promoting the Clean Core principle and minimizing custom code.
• Design end‑to‑end architecture for Sales, Service, and Aftermarket processes, ensuring seamless front‑office/back‑office integration.
• Define and enforce global architecture principles, governance standards, and risk assessments.
• Drive change initiatives, act as a bridge between business and IT, and champion user adoption of harmonized processes.
• Collaborate with international, cross‑functional teams and travel up to 30% to Liebherr sites worldwide.

Required profile

• Proven senior SAP leadership experience in global S/4HANA programs, preferably with CRM integration.
• 10+ years of enterprise solution experience, including at least 5 years leading SAP S/4HANA business process design in large organizations.
• Strategic vision combined with hands‑on expertise in multi‑platform architecture governance.
