Hotel Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Hotel Maintenance Engineer ensures that guest rooms and public areas at W Ibiza operate smoothly by responding promptly to repair requests and performing routine upkeep. Working on‑site, you will interact directly with guests to resolve maintenance issues while maintaining high standards of safety and service.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and building systems, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery to identify wear or defects.
• Locate and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
• Document daily activities and hand over shift information using approved communication procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and prioritize guest‑focused tasks.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Basic understanding of building systems and safety protocols.
