Hotel Receptionist – Barcelona

About the role

Join Barceló Group as a Receptionist at the Barceló Raval hotel in Barcelona. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience and providing high‑quality service throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest arrivals, perform check‑in procedures and welcome visitors.
• Handle departures, complete check‑out processes and bid farewell to guests.
• Provide in‑person and telephone customer service during the entire stay.
• Perform concierge and luggage‑storage duties.
• Verify reservations and conduct nightly audits.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master in Marketing, or a related field with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer‑service experience in the hotel sector.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Familiarity with hospitality CRM systems.
• Knowledge of ISO standards related to hotel operations.
