Houseman – Resort Housekeeping Support

About the role

The Houseman supports the housekeeping department of a luxury resort, ensuring public areas and back‑of‑house spaces remain clean, orderly, and fully stocked. This position works closely with Room Attendants and other housekeeping staff to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order in lobbies, corridors, stairwells, elevators, and back‑of‑house areas.
• Deliver clean linens, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping carts.
• Collect and transport soiled linens, trash, and recyclables from guest rooms and public zones to designated disposal points.
• Keep housekeeping equipment and carts stocked, clean, and in good working condition.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests related to housekeeping or maintenance.
• Assist the housekeeping team during peak periods or special projects to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.

Required profile

• Physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to support colleagues.
