HR Business Partner – Madrid

About the role

Speexx is looking for an HR Business Partner to join its People & Culture team in Madrid. The role will support the revenue organisation and global functional units based in Spain, aligning the company’s People strategy with local business needs. You will work closely with managers, operations and the broader People team to drive HR initiatives across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to translate objectives into HR priorities, supporting OKRs and workforce planning.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support in employee relations, compensation, development and organisational matters.
• Lead performance management processes, talent reviews, succession planning and high‑potential development.
• Act as first point of contact for complex employee relations cases, including performance issues and exits.
• Contribute to international People projects and rollout of HR programs such as retention, benefits, learning & development and performance management.
• Support office operations, employee engagement initiatives and culture programmes to ensure a positive workplace experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably supporting revenue and technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use people data to inform decisions.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills for managers and employees.

• Deep understanding of all HR functions, including performance management, compensation, employee relations and learning & development.
