About the role
Hitachi Vantara is seeking a French‑speaking Inside Sales Representative based in Barcelona to drive new business across selected African markets. You will own the full sales cycle, focusing on pipeline generation, partner collaboration and market development while working closely with channel partners and field sales teams.
Key responsibilities
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, targeted outreach and strategic market research.
- Collaborate with system integrators, distributors and channel partners to identify opportunities, gain account access and advance deals.
- Position and sell Hitachi Vantara’s Digital Infrastructure portfolio to both new prospects and existing customers.
- Identify customer challenges and clearly articulate the value of solutions to meet business and technical needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor, supporting immediate priorities while aligning with long‑term digital transformation goals.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline, providing accurate monthly, quarterly and annual revenue forecasts.
- Drive net‑new revenue and expand existing customer and partner relationships.
- Navigate varying market maturity, procurement models and decision‑making structures across African regions.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in IT, infrastructure, cloud, data or related technology fields.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
