Internal Support Technician – Barcelona

About the role

We’re looking for a dependable Internal Support Technician to join our crew in Barcelona. This junior role will involve being the first point of contact for everyday IT issues, working closely with the Systems Engineer and handling day‑to‑day support for colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for everyday IT issues, handling straightforward requests and escalating complex problems.
• Triaging and resolving first‑line help‑desk tickets (password resets, connectivity, printers, hardware, basic software).
• Prepare, set up, and configure laptops, monitors and peripherals for new hires and maintain the equipment fleet.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding logistics, including high‑volume days.
• Provide in‑person and remote assistance, explaining issues clearly without jargon.
• Assist with basic account and access tasks under guidance of the Systems Engineer.
• Maintain printers, meeting‑room AV, Wi‑Fi basics and general workplace technology.
• Log and document recurring issues to build an internal knowledge base.
• Support larger IT projects and improvement initiatives alongside the Systems Engineer.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a help‑desk, IT support or customer‑facing technical role.
• Comfortable working independently in a complex technical environment.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (French a plus).
• Curious, self‑motivated and eager to develop technical skills.
• Team‑player with a warm, service‑oriented attitude.
