International Tax Specialist

About the role

Applus+ is seeking an experienced International Tax Specialist to join its Corporate HQ Tax team. Reporting to the Tax Director, you will work at the core of global tax operations, supporting complex cross‑border structures, M&A projects and emerging tax technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Finance, Legal and Operations on M&A transactions and internal restructurings, from tax structuring and due diligence to post‑deal integration.
• Advise regional teams on international tax matters, cross‑border operations and transfer pricing, coordinating closely with external advisors.
• Coordinate Pillar II and Country‑by‑Country reporting and compliance obligations.
• Support group‑wide transfer pricing compliance, including Master File and Local Files, and implement group tax policies.
• Supervise and coordinate local tax audits and litigation in collaboration with local teams and advisors.
• Monitor tax compliance across the group, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
• Assist with global tax reporting during quarterly, year‑end and statutory closings, and manage tax forecasts, budgets and gap analyses.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives to enhance tax compliance efficiency and contribute to tax technology and automation development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Law or a related field; Master’s in Tax is a plus.
• 5–6 years of experience in International Tax and M&A within a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders across finance, legal and operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive attitude.
