IT Client Technical Implementation Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Client Technical Implementation Specialist to join Carenet in Port of Spain. In this position you will translate client business requirements into scalable, technology‑driven solutions, ensuring smooth deployment and high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical subject‑matter expert for client implementations, resolving complex configuration, scripting and functionality issues.
• Develop, maintain and optimise JavaScript, HTML functions and SQL queries for data validation, reporting and workflow automation.
• Troubleshoot system configuration, integration, and data integrity problems.
• Collaborate with clients and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable system configurations and workflows.
• Create and manage implementation plans, coordinating tasks, timelines, dependencies and progress across stakeholders.
• Monitor project risks and blockers, provide updates and escalate issues to ensure successful delivery.
• Support account setup, system integrations, user‑acceptance testing and launch readiness.
• Document configurations, scripts, implementation artifacts and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Development or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of JavaScript development or web‑application support experience.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on system implementation, configuration and project coordination.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
