Jefe/a de Partida

About the role

We are looking for a Jefe/a de Partida to join the kitchen team at Barceló Teguise Beach. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing dishes according to the established menu specifications and ensuring smooth kitchen operations under the supervision of the Head Chef.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes using the technical sheets of the rotating menu.
• Ensure the kitchen runs efficiently and support the Head Chef in daily operations.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management and purchasing activities.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, reheating and restocking of food items.
• Receive and store food supplies following established standards and orders.
• Perform tasks in compliance with safety, hygiene regulations and company procedures.

Required profile

• Higher Level Training Cycle in Cooking and Gastronomy (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior).
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar kitchen position.
• No language requirement; hospitality knowledge is a plus.
• Team‑player attitude, creativity, stress tolerance and meticulous work habits.
