Jefe/a de Sector – Hotel Teguise Beach

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sector Manager to oversee the food and beverage operations at Barceló Teguise Beach. You will ensure high‑quality service, efficient resource planning and a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and intervene in the delivery of food and beverage services across restaurants, bars and other outlets.
• Plan staff schedules, manage stock levels and organise work shifts.
• Assign tables to waitstaff and coordinate their daily activities.
• Correct team performance, support problem‑solving and ensure compliance with service standards.
• Monitor hygiene, staff presentation and the cleanliness of the assigned sector.
• Control the mise en place and take guest orders accurately.
• Report any quality or presentation issues to the maître d’.

Required profile

• Vocational training (medium or higher level) in hospitality or related field.
• Minimum one year of experience as a waiter or in a similar supervisory role.
• High proficiency in English; additional language (French or German) is a plus.
• Strong organisational abilities, problem‑solving skills and capacity to lead a team.
