About the role

We are looking for a Technical Services Manager to lead the maintenance and auxiliary services of our Barceló Ponent Beach hotel. The role ensures the smooth operation of all facilities, guaranteeing safety, efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, control and monitor maintenance tasks for installations and auxiliary services.
• Lead, organize and coordinate the maintenance technicians team, ensuring effective and profitable contributions.
• Propose measures to improve performance and implement the maintenance program, ensuring staff safety, development and training.
• Develop preventive maintenance and repair programs, monitoring proper functioning of machines and installations.
• Keep the maintenance program up‑to‑date, ensuring quality compliance and adherence to budget.
• Forecast spare parts and equipment needs, managing stock levels according to established maximum and minimum thresholds.
• Supervise maintenance work performed by third‑party contractors and actively participate in occupational health and safety plans.
• Conduct cost studies for installations, machinery and preventive maintenance budgets.
• Prepare work schedules, attendance records, and manage staff leaves and hires.

Required profile

• Higher technical training: Superior Degree in Maintenance (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) or preferably a degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar maintenance management position.
• Proficiency in Spanish language.
