Jefe/a Partida

About the role

Barceló Hotel Group is seeking a Jefe/a Partida to lead a kitchen station at its Barceló Nura property in Menorca. The role involves organizing food preparation, supervising staff, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and quality for guest meals.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the preparation of raw materials, supplies and task allocation for efficient station operation.
• Supervise and develop recipes based on menu cycles and food‑handling best practices.
• Direct and oversee assistants and cooks in the preparation of dishes.
• Monitor cleaning, storage and replenishment of food items within the station.
• Ensure hygienic‑sanitary records and controls are completed and applied.
• Assist with basic receiving, storage and internal stock replenishment following established procedures.

Required profile

• Higher‑level vocational training in Kitchen Management or Hospitality, or a degree in Tourism.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar kitchen‑station leadership role.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Good taste and olfactory memory, creativity and manual dexterity.
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication ability and teamwork orientation.
• Planning, organisation, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.

Required skills

• HACCP (food safety) knowledge.
