Junior Project Manager

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries, is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Project Manager to join its team in Sevilla, Spain. This is an entry-level position supporting the planning, execution and monitoring of projects, working closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams so that projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines, milestones and deliverables using project management tools
• Coordinate project activities and help team members understand their responsibilities and deadlines
• Monitor project progress and track key metrics to spot potential delays or issues
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as status reports, meeting minutes and project plans
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, team members and senior management
• Identify and analyse project risks and support mitigation strategies
• Assist in budget tracking and resource allocation
• Support the onboarding of new team members and help resolve project challenges
• Take part in project meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement
• Contribute to the Management System by complying with quality and environmental policies and applying the Best Environmental Practices Manual

Required profile

• Degree in construction, project management or a similar function
• Strong organisational and time management skills, able to handle several tasks at once
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
• Team player with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
