Junior Software Engineer

About the role

Prosper AI is building AI‑powered phone agents that transform healthcare administration. As a Junior Software Engineer you will join a fast‑growing team in Barcelona, working on real‑time speech and large‑language‑model pipelines that handle thousands of daily calls.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale low‑latency speech/LLM pipelines.
• Build and maintain orchestration layers and reliability systems for AI voice agents.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to integrate new AI models.
• Deploy production‑grade software and monitor distributed systems.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience building end‑to‑end software products.
• Strong understanding of FastAPI (Python), PostgreSQL, and React + TypeScript.
• Experience with large‑scale distributed systems and asynchronous workload orchestration.
• Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents or other ML models is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics or equivalent.
• Founder mindset: ownership, hard work, and a desire to learn.
