Junior Stress Engineer (m/w/d)

About the role

SOGECLAIR DIGITAL ENGINEERING, part of the SOGECLAIR group founded in 1962, is looking for a Junior Stress Engineer to join its team in Getafe. The company works on high-value engineering projects in the aeronautical, space, rail and naval sectors, covering aerostructures, aircraft interiors, industrialization, configuration management and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic stress calculations under guidance
• Support the review and interpretation of analysis results
• Assist in test data analysis and correlation activities
• Contribute to the preparation of stress reports and technical documentation
• Support certification documentation activities
• Collaborate with engineering teams (design, manufacturing, testing)

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in stress engineering
• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Fluency in Spanish and professional English (mandatory)
• Eagerness to learn and develop in an engineering environment
• Team-oriented, analytical, reliable and proactive

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of mechanics of materials and structural analysis
• ISAMI skills (mandatory)
• Basic understanding of stress analysis and familiarity with finite element methods
• Exposure to tools such as HyperMesh, HyperView, NASTRAN or Abaqus
• Knowledge of CATIA V5 and Python is a plus
