Legal Advisor

About the role

As a Legal Advisor within HBX Group’s Litigation & Insurance team, you will oversee disputes and claims across multiple jurisdictions, coordinate external counsel, and work closely with internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and achieve efficient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation and pre‑litigation matters, ensuring consistent strategy, escalation and communication.
• Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, legal notices and dispute‑related documentation.
• Coordinate and oversee external counsel and advisors, ensuring quality, cost control and timely delivery.
• Lead insurance claims handling, including notifications, documentation and stakeholder coordination.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve disputes early and improve processes.
• Provide clear, business‑focused legal advice, risk assessments and updates.
• Maintain accurate reporting and dashboards; track KPIs and identify efficiencies using Excel, Power BI and legal‑tech/AI tools.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer (Spain) with litigation experience in private practice and/or multinational environments.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages a plus.
• Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with high ownership and attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player with high integrity and a strong service mindset.
