Legal Counsel – EMEA

About the role

Solenis is seeking a motivated Legal Counsel to join its EMEA Legal team. The role provides comprehensive legal support to business stakeholders across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, focusing on commercial contracts, dispute resolution, and compliance in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, revise and terminate commercial contracts including sales, rebate, distribution, agency, toll manufacturing, procurement and non‑disclosure agreements.
• Manage disputes, coordinate litigation proceedings and facilitate settlement of pre‑suit customer claims.
• Provide counsel on debtor/creditor rights, collection and bankruptcy matters.
• Participate in M&A transactions, support joint‑venture formation and lead post‑closing integration activities.
• Advise business units on Solenis Global Standards of Business Conduct and address compliance issues such as anti‑corruption regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with solid experience in commercial law and cross‑border transactions.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize effectively and work independently.
• Excellent negotiation and dispute‑resolution skills.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset in a dynamic, multicultural setting.
