Legal Counsel

About the role

Papaya Global is a fast‑growing B2B technology unicorn that provides a global payroll and payments platform for companies operating in more than 160 countries. We are expanding our in‑house legal team and are looking for a Legal Counsel to support commercial, corporate, labor and privacy matters across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including services agreements, NDAs, DPAs and SaaS licence agreements with clients, partners and vendors.
• Provide legal advice on labor law and data‑privacy issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, product, marketing, finance and payments to address diverse legal questions.
• Deliver general corporate law guidance as required.

Required profile

• EU‑qualified attorney or lawyer with 3–5 years of experience in a high‑tech/commercial legal environment, either in a law firm or an in‑house team.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, persistent and capable of clear oral and written communication.
