Legal Paralegal – Europe Region

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Paralegal to join Midea Group’s Europe legal department in Madrid. The role supports the Head of Legal and Compliance, handling a wide range of corporate, contractual and administrative tasks across the European region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain corporate housekeeping by updating legal databases, organizational charts and internal registers.
• Administer contracts and documents, managing signature processes, internal approvals, scanning, coordination and archiving.
• Oversee treasury processes for invoices and payments, track payments and set up supplier master files.
• Keep internal trackers and documentation up‑to‑date for audit and finance purposes.
• Support Legal Operations by improving processes, configuring workflows and templates in group systems.
• Assist with dashboards, KPIs and internal/external audits.
• Coordinate notary appointments, handle apostille and legalization of cross‑border legal documents.
• Prepare and submit commercial registry filings and mandatory reports.
• Maintain the internal document and reporting management system and manage SharePoint sites.
• Coordinate meetings, document execution and liaise with external counsel.

Required profile

• University degree.
• At least five years of paralegal experience supporting general counsel or head of legal, preferably in an international environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SharePoint and document management systems.
• Experience with legal databases and corporate filing procedures.
