Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Dubai

About the role

Emirates Engineering is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join its Dubai team. The role involves performing routine maintenance and defect rectification on aircraft, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in line with manufacturer and safety procedures.
• Maintain assigned zones/aircraft according to the latest revisions of approved technical publications.
• Handle off‑aircraft duties such as spares management and documentation following company procedures.
• Select and use appropriate tooling and equipment to achieve cost‑effective troubleshooting.
• Perform component changes as required, referencing AMM, IPC or other manufacturer documentation.
• Adhere to safety rules, maintain excellent housekeeping and report any deficiencies.
• Communicate operational issues to colleagues, managers and senior engineers.
• Prepare detailed reports on service delays, incidents and accidents for maintenance planning.
• Participate in training modules to meet CAR 145 requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Minimum five years of experience as a certifying staff engineer in aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to work safely, follow procedures and maintain accurate records.

Required skills
